The Survivor's Directory

The aim of The Survivors Directory is to be an expanding resource for those healing from any form of intimate relationship abuse.

Survivors move forward from the crisis stage, and the role of The Survivors Directory is to facilitate that growth and provide access to support that suits individual requirements and wants.

We all heal differently, and we all have different needs when we’re rebuilding. People can be ready to heal six months after leaving, or five to ten years down the track. When they look for help, The Survivors Directory will provide those options.

I am planning this Directory because it offers the options and support I needed when I was ready to heal from my abusive relationship. I was looking for something that just didn’t exist.

The Directory will not be limited to talk therapy. It will extend into holistic options, movement, breath work, fitness, personal and home security, self-defence, financial support, legal, co-parenting, peer support, online resources, telehealth and more.

One looation of support and options.

In Australia, one in five adults have experienced violence, emotional abuse or economic abuse by a partner. The Survivors Directory will give counsellors, employers, advocates, legal services and medical practitioners somewhere to refer their clients beyond initial crisis support.

It brings together the next stage of healing support, which is currently scattered across multiple online locations, much of it hard to find and largely unknown to the people trying to rebuild.
