Why You Keep Repeating the Same Patterns, and What to Do About It.

Our brain lies to us a lot. It tells us thoughts that we don’t question. Those thoughts become beliefs about us and most aren’t true.

The beliefs you live by were written when you were trying to survive.

Some were inherited. Some were installed by an abusive relationship. Most were never yours to begin with.

This guide gives you the tools to find them, adapted from CBT and schema therapy.  Anything learned can be changed.

  • Track the thought patterns pointing to what you believe about yourself.
  • Use the downward arrow technique to follow a surface thought to the core belief underneath it.
  • Map the life experiences that created your rules, and identify which ones were never yours.
  • Understand the difference between your rules and values.
  • Know what to do when you find a limiting belief, without forcing change before you’re ready.
